Golf

Hello!  It is Ginger here today!
I did this layout for the Design Team at The Crafty Scrapper.  This sweet photo is my oldest grandson Logan.  He is now 13 and he was around 3 when this photo was taken.  He is so cute wearing a golf shirt, hat, and carrying a golf club.  I love, love these papers by Authentique Suave Collection.
These papers looked old and it goes with the photo.  I distressed around the second paper and curled up the corners.  The second paper I cut it out and glued to the the pretty blue paper.  I used by Martha Stewart Deco Fan punch and her circle cutter.  I inked around the circle with Tim Holtz Distress Ink.
I was given the little bird cage, key, and the scallop piece which is from Maya Roads.  I painted each one blue and added Glossy Accents to the key and bird cage.  I added these pretty flowers which I added a center to each one.  I then rolled up strips of paper and glued them down.  I was also given this cute little brown bow tie!!
On this corner I added a pretty flower and  a pretty center.  I then rolled up more strips of paper and glued them down.  I was given this pretty black flower, bow tie, and by Maya Roads this pretty chipboard button which I painted, added glossy accents, and then thread.
Here you can see the little wire tree which I added another bow tie and more of the rolled up strips of paper.  I was also given this cute banner by Maya Roads which I painted and added glossy accents.  I found these letters and then used a fine tip black marker to go around each one.

Charity

Well...I was given this stencil to try it out and send in feedback! It was given to the Design Team at The Crafty Scrapper. So...I had to think and think about all this and finally my daughter Heather gave me this cute photo of her (on the right) and her friend Andrea that was taken for a charity event.  I suddenly knew what needed to be done!!!  What do you think?

The stencil that I used is at the bottom of this layout.  I first wanted to use modeling paste but some of the lines were to skinny and the the modeling paste just bled all over the place.  So...I thought I would use ink spray which turned out much better!  I used three different sprays on this.

You can see better how using the ink sprays looks.  I then found on the internet a clipart of the golf balls.  I then downloaded to Powerpoint which I really enjoy working in that format.  I made each one a different size to fit into the circles on the stencils.  You can also see I made a banner and added string.  I then found this little flower, added a center and a small lock.
I cut out the banners and used ink on the outside.  I then used various pearls to outline each one.  I also used white sparkly corrugated cardstock and a cute blue ribbon.  I found this wooden butterfly which I used distress ink and then added a pearl accent.
I found in my stash these flowers and added the pearls that I have had for some time.  I cut out with a Martha Stewart punch the blue paper and used a buttefly punch.

Here is a list of items that I used:

Stencil
White corrugated Cardstock
Light purple Cardstock
Blue Ribbon
Martha Stewart Double Loop Punch, Butterfly Punch
Ranger Ink Sprays - Fresh Lime, London Blue
Ranger Adirondack Color Wash - Cranberry
Metal Lock
Flowers by Petaloo, Paper Studio
Pearls - BoBunny & Hobby Lobby
Alphabet - Hobby Lobby
String - Hobby Lobby

Happy Valentine Day!
Good morning everyone.
Time to introduce our February Challenge and this month the theme is
MASKS or STENCILS
You can create any project using any masks or stencils
and we would love to see it!
Here is my project to get us started
For this layout I have used new Authentique Papers Elegant.
Who loves the Quatrefoil pattern besides me?? I am hoping it is this years hexagon :o)
To create my mask, I used my Cameo and cut this pattern from scratch paper.
I used Wendi Vecchi's Embossing Paste, which I colored with Gelatos® to stencil the pattern on.
These fabulous wings are from Maya Road, and I have used several
embossing powders and glitters on them.
I used Dylusions Lemon Peel  for the heart, Maya Road alphas and rhinestone button.
Brads and bling from October Afternoon, Queen and Co, Teresa Collins and others.
I don't buy  lot of stamps, but I think I have every one of Wendi Vecchi's-
her sayings are amazing!
So, create any project with masks or stencils,
layout, card, canvas, off the page- whatever strikes your fancy
and link up below by February 28th.
One winner will receive 2 new masks from Ranger!!

Little Farmer

Hello everyone, it's Ginger here today!
I love this sweet little photo of my youngest grandson Colby.  He loves all kinds of animals and our son allows the kids to see and touch them all.  This was at his birthday party and he had a little zoo of animals to show up.  He was in heaven!
I love being on the Design Team at The Crafty Scrapper and this time they gave me such wonderful papers to create this layout.  They are from Echo Park, Simple Stores, and Authentique.  Each paper worked perfectly with the look I was after!  This layout did take me all day to create.  However, I do like how it turned out.  I cut out the green paper and added Martha Stewart punch and then distressed the other side.  I then attached it with eyelets and added string.
I used so many papers on this project.  You can see the eyelets and string plus the stripe paper I used by Martha Stewart a punch which I inked with Tim Holtz Distress Ink.  I made a flower from Tim Holtz and added a button with string.  I used by Prima and Petaloo the flowers.
On one of the papers it had this cute monkey so I cut it out to hang on the the paper.  I also used by Martha Stewart a punch to the outside of the paper.  I curled the paper up on this side of the layout.
You can see the other eyelets and string plus the letters that I chose but it to make them stand out better I used a fine point marker to outline.  I also used from Tim Holtz the smaller flower and I had in my stash this cute little goat button!  From Maya Roads I was given the little bird, round circle and the flourish which I painted and added design with the fine point marker.  You can see I used two papers and distressed each one around the photo.  I also used cheesecloth behind the flowers and buttons.

Always - Ginger Cameron - Feb. 4

I love working on all the layouts for The Crafty Scrapper Design Team.   These papers were Valentine but I saw this photo of my youngest son Chris, his wife Ashley and their two children Kenzie and Colby which I knew would work perfectly with the papers.  The papers are from Fancy Pants.  My kids are in the park where a photographer took this cute photo.  As you can see Colby was looking back at the photographer.  How cute is that!!

I distressed the pink paper and added modeling paste and used the stencil from Prima.  From there I added a lot of goodies that were given to me.

I cut out my own banner pieces except for two which in done in material.  I inked around the edges and pieced them all together.  I used a punch by Martha Stewart around the photo.  You can see the stencil from Prima and the little birdhouse by Maya Roads.

I distressed the pink paper and then cut it out and curled the paper. I then took corrugated cardstock and added Gesso.  I used by Golden - glass gel beads to the gesso.  I added a bow plus a metal object which I added the little pearls.  I also love Powerpoint so I wrote the word Love and used that to place in the center of the metal object.  I used a butterfly punch by Martha Stewart and added a blue pearl.
This flourish is by Maya Roads which I used green and pink paint and then black  on the outside. On the heart which is by Maya Roads I painted it pink and used pink microbeads by Martha Stewart then added a small flower.  I also tore the paper, added corrugated cardstock and cheesecloth.

I used this little birdcage from Maya Roads and painted it the same as the flourish.  I added these pretty pink flowers by Petaloo.  I added cheesecloth around the flowers.  I then took a black fine tip pen and went around the punch work by the photo and the banner and flourish.
