You Inspire Me

I did this layout for the Expo Convention in Grapevine, Texas.  It is for the Design Team at The Crafty Scrapper.  I used Authentique papers which I love plus these two little photos of my granddaughters Kenzie and Paityn.  I had taken these photos during summer and put flowers in there hair.  I inked the outside edges of the papers and used from Studio 490 Modeling Paste.  I also used Tim Holtz clock die cut.  I took pieces of the paper and folded them to look like a ribbon and inked the edges as well.  At the top I used an ink pen to draw the flowers and leaves and then I painted them.  I rather like the look.  I added the tag that says You Inspire Me and placed the metal tag sideways to give it a different look.

Here is the list of items that I used:

Authentique - Grace Collection - Heart Paper, Poised Paper
Studio 490 Embossing Paste - Metallic Gold
Tim Holtz - Distress Ink - Peeled Paint
Maya Roads - Flowers, Stick Pins
Flowers - TCS

Heather Rene' - Mini Album

I did this sweet mini album for the Design Team at The Crafty Scrapper.  I was requested to do this for the Expo Convention in Grapevine, Texas.   I had 5 days to complete this plus 2 other projects as well.  On this mini album each page had a different cut out.  On this cover I just added the paper from Authentique added lots of flowers and my daughters initials.  I then added lots of ribbon from TCS as well.

On this page I used Authentique papers again and added some flowers and a heart hanger plus butterflies and a tag that says Celebration..  I also inked the papers.

On this page I used a poem To My Daughter which also shows on the front of the album.  I used Authentique papers again and beautiful lowers plus ribbon from TCS.

I love these two photo of Heather.  She in her tub and on the bouncy ball!!  I used Authentique papers and added lots of flowers!

I love this little photo.  Of course this page had a cut out so I circled it with lace and added ribbon, flowers, and a butterfly.  I then placed her name on the other side of the oval.

Of course this page had the cutout which shows the photo of the previous page.  I did add 2 other photos with lots of flowers.  These two photos are Heather when she was in high school.  The top photo is when she wins 2 plaques with her name on each one for soccer and the bottom is her going to the boys soccer banquet.

This photo is Heather and her prom date Chris.  They looked so cute together.  I found this poem and then added the metal piece and added a flower plus ribbon.

The photo on the left is her graduation photo in 1991.  The other two are just various photos of her which I believe are gorgeous.  I took a stamp and then tore other pages plus inked them.  I then added the ribbon and the light bulb and flower.

The photo on the left is one that was taken last year.  We were giving my daughter-in-law a baby shower and it was a beautiful sunny day and we requested that it would be a hat day! LOL  This page also had a cute out which you can see the next page photo.  I used flowers, ribbon, etc. on this page.

On this page it too had a cut out which you can see the photo from the previous page.  I added a poem and a pretty bow with a flower.

The top left photo was taken recently.  She ordered these glasses and sent me this cute photo of herself.  She wears contacts so these glasses had no prescription.  LOL  the other two photos were taken by Blue Moon Photography.  They take photos of the stars in Hollywood.  Obviously these are the head shots.  I added flowers plus modeling paste.

Spring - Tag

This is a little tag I was requested to make for the Design Team at The Crafty Scrapper.  I did this for the Expo Scrapbook Convention in Grapevine, Texas.  I was given a little girl and this tag and come up with something.  Therefore I used from Tim Holtz his butterfly tape which I sewed it together and then gathered it 4 times!!!!  I then colored the top of her dress and used stickles to make it sparkle plus added some little pearls to the waist area.  I then cut out her hair and headband and added sparkles to that as well.  On her shoes I added black beads.  The face I used to blue stones and then cut out small eyelashes and curled them.  I then drew her lips on red paper and cut that out as well.  For the background I used from Adirondack their dabbers in Aqua and White to make the sky and Willow to make the grass.  I then used 2 punches on the flowers and added beads and Pearl pen.

Easter Banner

This is an Easter Banner that I was asked to do for The Crafty Scrapper.  At first I was in aahh of what to do with this but once I put the paper on the triangle cardboard it all fell into place for me.  I used the same papers for the front and back and then added strips of paper and distressed the edges with Tim Holtz Distress ink Vintage Photo.  The triangles with the scalloped edges I did paint them with Gesso white and then inked the edges with blue ink.  I was given by Maya Roads large alphabet cardstock letters which I painted in pastel colors and dusted them with gold glitter.

On these two pages I added the alphabet letter, inked other pages with Vintage Photo ink and added the flowers, pearls, stickles and other items.

I added the alphabets and also used flowers by Prima, Petaloo, and Maya Roads.  On the Maya roads these were white flowers which I added Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Blue and Pink.  I also used from BoBunny the pearl accents.  The ribbon was given to me at TCS.  I also have a zipper pull from Prima - Junkyard Findings.

On these I added Prima flowers, Petaloo, and Maya Roads flowers and sprayed the pink one with Glimmer Mist Spray - Pink.  I added ribbon and then used my Pearl Pen by Viva - Ice White and make the little dots.

I felt that this last piece of the banner was very important.  I could start and end the banner with a scallop border and I added a little poem as well.  I then added a flower with a pretty center.

I then punch holes at the top of the banner which I then threaded it with a lime green yard.  On the back I added by Webster Blue & White Tissue Paper Garland.  I added pieces of various ribbon in between each triangle.

Here is a list of items that I used for this project:

Authentique - Hope Collection - Lavish Paper, Promise Paper, Faith Paper
Tim Holtz - Distress Ink - Vintage Photo
Maya Roads - White Roses, Large Alphabet Letters

Spring

These papers from Authentique is so gorgeous!  I did this layout for the Design Team at The Crafty Scrapper.  I found this sweet little photo of my granddaugher Paityn and she was about 2 months old and it was taken on Easter.  Isn't she cute!!!  I love the background paper with the pretty flowers and then I reversed the brown paper with the dots.

I then took other papers and using Martha Stewart circle cutter I cut out 3 sizes of various papers from Authentique and then punched them with Martha Stewart Deco Fan Punch.  I then glued them to the polka dot paper. On this photo you can see how I bent the punch up after using distress ink on them.  You can also see how I used strips of paper to make a ribbon effect by the flowers.  I also cut out the little bunny twice and attached them on top of each other to give a 3-D effect.

I also had from Liquitex their modeling paste and did the pretty loves at the bottom.  Once they dried I added from Adirondack dabber - Willow paint.  I also put the photo a small tabs so it could fit on top of the punches.  I was going to write her name but found in my stache these cute little alphabets and I put them together using string.   This was a lot of fun putting this layout together.  It took me about 4-5 hours to complete and I rather like it myself!!

Here are the items that I used on this project:
